Oiselle Flyout Bra ($64), Flyout Trail Tank, ($64), Basic Bird Long Shorts ($62)
Flyout Bra, Rain Lily/Night Sky Print color, size 12 ($64)
My new favorite bra! When I picked it up at first, it felt slightly heavy, and I thought I’ll have a hard time wearing it as it seemed slightly too “bulky”. Not even close! After a few miles during my long run, it felt amazing. No chaffing at all, not even the chest band, which is the most common problem for me.
The shoulder straps are wider and very comfortable, and the higher neck provides a great support for bigger busts. Wearing a running hydration vest over the bra only (no additional tank top), I had zero chafing and the straps were not digging into my shoulders. I was very comfortable for hours moving through mountain terrain.
The center back phone pocket is perfectly designed. The mesh is light and holds the phone in place well.
I tested it during my hilly/scramble run as well as at the gym - no problems. It stayed in at all times. The phone can be removed and placed into the pocket very easily.
I had zero issues and love the color as well.
Flyout Trail Tank, Rain Lily/Rose color, size 10 ($48)
There is nothing for me to not love about this top. It is very light, breathable, the material does not hold sweat, and the coverage is perfect. It is not tight, but also not overly loose, and I had no chaffing while wearing a running vest during my 10 mile run. I love the color I received as well. It was perfect for hot summer weather.
Basic Bird Long Shorts, Juniper color, size 10 ($62)
As a fan of long compression shorts, I wanted to test these. They are light, breathable, and the fabric is very comfortable, providing extra coverage against the sun. They compress enough to not move around my legs or roll up, cause no uncomfortable tightness, and are very comfortable to wear for many hours. I also used them during a gravel bike outing, wearing them over a padded bike underwear. Zero issues again.
The higher waist panel is very comfortable. I am a huge fan of the double secure pockets on the back waist.
The inner pocket has a zipper for added security, and the outer one can hold a smaller water flask/bottle (slightly bigger than a bigger size 12 oz can of Redbull) as well as other items. I used my 500ml flask during my run with my phone placed under it in the zipper pocket, and it worked well.
No chafing and the flask stayed in at all times. It was easy to access and place back in.
The fabric stays stretched enough to keep the outer back waist pocket enclosed when having multiple items in it.
The only suggestion I may have is to add one additional side leg pocket for another quick storage option.
Conclusion:
I love to wear the combo of all the Oiselle here, or just the long shorts and the Flyout Bra. The colors work well together. They are comfortable and stylish. Run, bike, or gym. I would, and will recommend, any of these three items I tested to anyone who is looking for comfortable, stylish and functional apparel.
Well done, Oiselle. Well done!
