Nike Vomero 17 ($160)
In video, I share initial impressions of Nike's more traditional higher stack (39 mm heel / 30.5 forefoot) neutral daily trainer with details, fit, ride, and comparisons. With a slightly higher stack it even loses some weight to check in just under 10 oz / 281g in a US9.
Watch the Vomero 17 Video Review (14:21)
The Vomero 17 sees significant changes (for the better) with a dual foam midsole of Zoom X underfoot and Cushlon 3 below. The prior outer carrier foam with central core of Zoom X as well as the Air unit upfront no more.
The upper is a dense comfortable engineered mesh with a gusset tongue and strap.
Our full multi tester review is coming soon. Vomero 17 should be available October 2023.
