Atreyu Running Base Trail Initial Video Review: Honor Simplicity
Video by Sam Winebaum
Atreyu Base Trail ($115)
Scrappy Atreyu from Austin, Texas strikes again this time in trail!
In the video I take the Atreyu Base Trail for an initial run in Park City and share all the details, fit, ride and some initial conclusions among which the Base Trail is also an excellent road shoe.
It has a chemically supercritical EVA midsole, 3.5mm lug full coverage outsole and a reflective TPU mesh upper.
Same last and footbed width as Base Road on a wider midsole tooling.
Full Stack Height: 30mm heel / 24 mm forefoot, 6mm drop
Sample Weight: 9.53 oz / 270g
Expected Production Weight: 9.8 oz / 278g

FWIW, I believe Michael said something about working on a non-lugged version for the roads in the release video. Very eager to see if that pans out.
