Nike Pegasus Trail 2 ($130)
Update: Full Multi Tester Review
Contributor Jeff Beck and RTR Editor Sam Winebaum give first impressions of the new Nike Pegasus Trail 2. Out now for $130, the Peg Trail 2 is a big change for the road/trail "commuter" shoe adding extra cushioning and overhauling the upper. The 31/21 stack may be midsole only and may not include the outsole stack.
.
*Not mentioned in the video - there is no rockplate. Rock protection is good with the higher stack height and comprehensive rubber outsole, but there is no rockplate, even a segmented one found in the Wildhorse or Kiger. Full written multi tester review soon.

Love your reviews, Sam but what's the deal - no more running warehouse discount codes???
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the initial review. It doesn’t look like you were part of the crew that reviewed the Saucony Exodus 10 but I’m curious if you got to run in it. If so can you compare to the Peg Trail 2? Hoping it makes the comparisons list during the upcoming full review.
Thanks,
Jeff
