Hoka One One Clifton 7 ($130)
The Clifton 7 gets a new very soft engineered sandwich mesh upper, a gusseted tongue instead of the 6’s rear stitching, and swept back rear tab that also serves to help pull them on.
It loses some weight about 0.35 oz, 9 or so grams to come in at about 8.55 oz / 243 g in a US9 based on our sample. Still $130. Releases August 2020. Multi tester review soon!

Thank you so much Sam. My overwhelmingly favorite Clifton was the 3. Can you give any comparison? FYI - I have the Rincon and like it, but sometimes I feel like I need a little more shoe.
Thank you,
David
My first Clifton is the 6 and I love it with one exception. The medial midsole design is just a shade too narrow and cuts into my arches. The rest of the shoe fits beautifully and I don't have this issue with the Bondi, Speedgoat or Torrent. I have read others who experience the same phenomenon. Would love to hear any comparison you can provide. Fingers crossed that Clifton 7 is different on this one issue!
Thanks,
Andy
I should have mentioned that I also have the 2E and still experience this.
