La Sportiva Spring 2019 Previews: New Kaptiva and Bushido 2

La Sportiva presented a brand new trail run shoe the Kaptiva, for medium to long distances on varied and technical terrain and an update to their best selling model the Bushido.

Midsole Stack: 22mm/16mm, 6mm drop
$139. Available Spring 2019
The Kaptiva is a new light weight trail runner racer with 4-5mm all terrain lugs and a full length EVA rock guard. It is built on a new last.

The upper combines a knit rear collar bootie for debris with a mid foot wrap, Trust-Fit.
Kaptiva should be a great option for moderate distances and fast paces on aggressive loose terrain.
Bushido 2
Weight: Men;s 10.5 oz/298 g (weight unchanged), Women's 8.8 oz./250g
Midsole Stack Height: 19mm/13 mm
$130. Available Spring 2019
The Bushido has been La Sportiva's best selling model of the last several years
For 2019 Bushido adds 3mm more cushion with in the mix a 1.5mm rock plate. It  has a new rear of upper. The heel cup has a more relaxed design and the tongue and upper is tuned for more comfort and breathability.

The outsole features LaSportiva's dual density with the center red sticky rubber and the outer yellow durable rubber for all terrain grip.

Any idea if the Kaptiva will have a similar fit to the VK? Jeff with his skinny feet may love the fit of the VK ;) , but I found it almost uncomfortably narrow.
