Topo Athletic Cyclone From the Run Initial Review and Shoe Details

Article by Sam Winebaum

Topo Athletic Cyclone ($120)

I take the Cyclone a 7.9 oz / 295g light trainer with a very light and supportive upper, Zip Foam with EVA carrier midsole, and a stout 4mm thick outsole out for a first run.

I discuss fit, ride, and make some comparisons to the Topo Zeyphr, New Balance Beacon, Kinvara 12, and Saucony Endorphin Speed.

Available Feb 2021. $120. Full multi tester review soon

Very interesting option from Topo. I've been wanting to try them out as someone which a foot which borders on wide, but have always viewed their road options as lackluster and visually dated. I like this colorway (definitely some Endorphin vibes to it) and the lightweight upper seems like it could definitely be a contender with what Saucony/NB/Asics is putting out recently. Excited for the full review!
