The Crash Jacket 2.0 is a new arrival at Title Nine and a welcome addition to the “Crash” line of apparel, though I may not pair my Crash tights with my Crash jacket -- just personal preferences! Literally designed for you to “crash” it when active in the outdoors, this jacket delivers performance and warmth in an attractive design that is also plenty trendy for the urbanite.
Welcome to the world of Polartec® Power Stretch® -- this is what the Crash jacket is made of!
This 90% recycled polyester10% spandex Power Stretch fabric has a dual surface: tight knit on the outside from some wind protection and durability and fleece on the inside to keep you warm and cozy. I found it quite protective against the cold and the wind as an outer layer. Power Stretch® has 4-way stretch and has shape retention so your garment keeps its original shape after wear. It is highly breathable with wicking properties to keep you warm and dry during your outdoor outings.
A jacket that does dual duties as a midlayer or an outer layer depending on the weather conditions. It is fully zippered with a hood. There is no drawcord but you can fold the edges up for a better fit. The Crash jacket is loaded with pockets (6) so you have dedicated pockets to warm your hands and side drop-in pockets to safely store and retrieve your phone with ease, in addition to two internal drop-in pockets for anything you need to store.
I love a jacket with thumbholes to comfortably tuck my hands in my sleeves -- it is a cozy feeling and a great way to keep my extremities warm, whether I am wearing gloves or not.
The striated finish of the Polartec® Power Stretch® is attractive looking and the top-stitched seams sewn inside out adds texture and interest.
Reflective dots in the right side of the back add a safety element.
Extremely comfortable and lightweight, the Crash jacket is a great option to keep you stylishly warm in cold weather.
