Article by Sam Winebaum

Inov-8 Roclite G 400  ($235)

Update: Read our full review here

I take the Roclite Pro G400 on a 1st hike in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. An ultra light (14 oz / 400g) boot with the chassis of a rugged trail runner and the support, stability and grip of a stout hiking boot it is designed for moving fast in the mountains.

Loaded with a ceramic coated upper, Gore-Tex bootie, plenty of cushion and stability and Inov-8's Graphene Grip outsole this $235 boot bridges the world of trail running, fast hiking/ fast packing, and trekking. Full multi tester review soon.
