Saucony Endorphin Shift ($140)
Update: Endorphin Shift multi tester review
I go for a first run in the Endorphin Shift in Park City, UT about 4.2 miles at a decently fast (for me) 8:53 easier pace at altitude.
The Shift is the super cushioned stable neutral daily trainer in the Endorphin collection which includes the Endorphin Pro carbon plated racer and the Speed, a similar to the Pro but nylon plated uptempo trainer.
The Shift differs in having no plate, PWRUN TPU/EVA blend midsole instead of PWRUN PB PeBa and as such is heavier at a still reasonable 10.4 oz / 295g for its massive 38mm/34mm stack, Hoka Bondi territory.
The upper is a soft engineered mesh with a stout heel counter which is extended downwards but not forwards (clever) on the medial side for a touch of (not really noticed) but present rear stability.
It shares Saucony's Speed Roll tech with its siblings.
Spoiler alert!
The Speed Roll is effective even with such a big stack. The Shift runs just as well and consistently at faster daily training paces as at slow recovery type paces

Great preview (except for the snow:)). Look forward to the full review on these. I currently run in the Saucony Triumph 17 and love them.
How does this compare to the guide or hurricane in terms of stability?
Direct assault at the Hoka Bondi for sure (which I run in) and look forward to the full reviews. Nice to see all those lace eyelets just like the Bondi as well. I hate running on the road honestly but in winter it's a sad necessity/reality so I like a forgiving shoe that wont beat me up. Would love to try this shoe as well as the Triumph 17....and jeez for the few 5K and 10K road races I do the Endorphin Speed. For trail the Xodus 10. NICE job Saucony!
Hi, I slightly overpronate and I am also very keen on these and really enjoyed your review. Would you recommend these for everyday running? I see the heel cup adds stability which is why I want to purchase them. Just looking for a bit of guidance..keep.up.the good work
