Enjoyed the preview! Would you say this rides firmer than it’s neutral counterpart the Ride ISO 2? Thanks!

Thanks for the great review. How's the upper volume compared to the Triumph 17?

Hi Anonymous,
Volume and fit about the same but the Guide 13 has a denser less a denser knit and is less stretchy. I actually prefer the Guide upper by a tiny bit, a touch more secure.

Hi Mark,
The neutral counterpart is the Triumph 17 (initial review post, full review soon). The Triumph 17 is slightly softer and bouncier and weighs the same. I usually don't run stability shoes but think if the Guide 13 did not have the medial plate I might prefer its different TPU EVA blend midsole vs full TPU beads of the Triumph as the ride while cushioned is more responsive and a little less heel heavy as T17 feels. Ride ISO 2 is the lighter cousin to T17 in Saucony neutral.

Thanks Sam for your reply. I was thinking the Hurricane & Triumph were counterparts & the Ride & Guide were counterparts. I have the Ride and was wondering if the new Guide was as soft underfoot. Thanks so much.
