Video Review by Ryan Eiler and Sam Winebaum
New Balance FuelCell RC Elite ($225)
Ryan and Sam wind up the RC, and Ryan really wound his up going sub 15 min for a solo 5K. We share what we think of the ride and fit, all the details and comparisons to other super shoe road racers in the initial review.
At about 7.2 oz /200g for a US9 the 10mm drop, $225 carbon plated RC is light, soft and springy, highly cushioned, propulsive, very fast and most importantly was super pleasant to run for both of us. Releases broadly Sept 15. Full Multi Tester Review soon!

Sam you prefer the NB RC over the next% (vapor/alpha)? Are there more reviewers that share your view?
Greetings
Luc
Hi Luc,
So far yes but early in testing and yes we will have other reviewers. While lighter I find the Next% flat in ride upfront. I much prefer so far Alphafly in Nike for marathon but think RC will be my goto for next half.
Sam, Editor
Hi Sam
Great initial review. Would you recommend this, Endorphin Pro or Hyperion Elite 2 for a forefoot striker hoping to complete a sub 330 marathon?
Cheers
