ASICS Runners Face Cover ($40)
Designed specifically for running at the ASICS Institute of Sport Science, the Face Cover outer fabric is anti microbial treated and cooling with the inner stout mesh providing a structure to keep it away from the mouth and on the nose and face. Both ear loops and rear cords are included.with at the chin mesh ports for easier breathing with the mesh structure designed for less heat and moisture felt close to the face and to prevent saliva droplets from emerging. No add on filter is available.
In a nice touch is made up of 31% recycled content.
I took it out for a 5 mile run in 74F /24 C temps with 70% humidity to see how it performed with all the details and with some comparisons to other run suitable masks in the video below. Bottom line it works and well as I felt no need to remove it, breathing easy and staying relatively cool stick and moisture free at about 132 bpm during my run
