It says 310 grams on tongue so 10.9 oz

Debating these with Brooks Divide? Or Terex Agravic Flow

Boa seems like a very complicated system compared to something like quicklace, especially if it gets damaged? Excuse my ignorance, but I'm not too knowledgeable on this application yet. The weight and complexity are an interesting approach but still better than traditional laces which are very annoying.

And the weight seems like a bit much for these, even if they are protective for mountain/technical conditions

Hi Xavier,
Thanks for your comment. We will see how rugged it proves to be but BOA has been used for many years on all kinds of sports gear. I see online repair and replacement kits and we will investigate for the full review.
The weight addition of BOA likely is minot if any as the laces themselves are so light, The weight quite clearly comes from the very rugged upper and also in part the full coverage outsole,

Hi Xavier,
I also see BOA provides free repair kits so it appears they really stand by their system,

Hi Vaad,
They are not 310 g as my US8.5 EU42 came in at 314g although one could argue a EU42 is closer to a US9. Haven't the Agravic Flow or Divide to compare but our testers really like Divide and only $100. I would say the Caldera 4 might be a closer comparison. It is a bit firmer and quite a bit stiffer than Terrex Two but a fairly comparable wider fit and ultra focus.

Thanks for insight. From all the users' thoughts I believe Caldera 4 is better in width/volume than Caldera 3 which really didn't work for me. Most likely going with heavier TerrexTwo for trainings and Caldera 4s for the soon to be Events/Ultras
