Sam takes the Puma Running Liberate Nitro ($110), a 6.49 oz / 184g (US9) very, very light trainer/ racer with a nitrogen infused supercritical midsole and mono mesh upper for a first run and shares shoe details, comparisons to other Nitro shoes launching soon, ride and fit impressions, and quick comparisons to the Hoka Mach 4, Saucony Freedom 4, Skechers Razor+, Saucony Kinvara 12 & Brooks Hyperion Tempo. It has plenty of stack and cushion for its super light weight at 28mm heel/18mm forefoot with a 10mm drop.
