 Video by Sam Winebaum

Atreyu Running Company The Artist ($100)

I take a first run with the v2 prototype of The Artist, a 6.2 oz / 177 g marathon super shoe with a PEBA midsole and a carbon plate. It will be available Q1 2021 (pre-sale soon) for $100. It is real, fast and fun to run! Video includes weight, stack, and ride comparisons to the other contenders.

  1. Does it have PEBAX? Other initial reviews suggest it might use that later in the development of these shoes but at the moment they use TPE foam

    1. This proto has a TPU EVA blend. Feels closer to Zoom X than Saucony PB. Similar to NB RC Elite and Lightstrike Pro foam in feel to me. Final version foam TBD
