A new single layer mesh upper clearly improves the fit over the Launch 6 but appears to contribute to a heavier (+0.4 oz) Launch 7. I ran a Launch 6 on one foot and Launch 7 on the other during this first run. The ride is ever so slightly softer, particularly in the forefoot, and smoother in transition likely due to the upper at mid foot being noticeably better connected to the platform without being constraining in the arch area.
