The Revel 3 is lighter, somewhat bouncier in feel with not quite as secure and stable an upper or underfoot platform. Call it a fun faster shoe to the 880 a quite lively but more heavy mileage and more stable shoe. You will find our Revel 3 review linked below.
Sam, Editor
Thanks for reading Road Trail Run! The Sonic 3 Balance is stiffer but easy to transition at faster paces but a bit less so at slower paces compared to the 880. The 880 is a bit softer cushioned overall especially the heel but that is a bit misleading as the dense JPAD vibration insert is so effective. Kind of bottom line both are great daily trainers with the 880 maybe a touch more suitable for slower paces and the Balance shining at faster paces for me.
Sam, Editor
Thanks for reading Road Trail Run!
