The Glide Max is much more plush and would be my pick for longer distances. Divide 3, a great shoe for the price, perhaps a bit more protective, but not as plush/light/fast. Divide best for more casual stuff, where Glide Max is more geared towards performance.

Matt, I have not tested the Xodus Ultra 2 (which is what I think you are referring to), but again would say the Ultra 2 has superior traction, is more responsive and protective for more technical terrain.

Jeff Vallierehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08106877622296558733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-5367329729197945602023-06-29T22:47:23.529-06:002023-06-29T22:47:23.529-06:00How does it compare to the Xodus 2? Adjusting the laces to get a similar tight but comfy lockdown required some patience, but was worth the effort. While I in general love big shoes like the NB FFM Trail v3 and the Caldera 6, I can't shake off the unnecessary foam at the sides feeling I get compared to the UG2.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-23855800682928606472023-05-22T00:50:43.426-06:002023-05-22T00:50:43.426-06:00Is 'Energy foam' just a rebranding or do y...Is 'Energy foam' just a rebranding or do you think the compound has changed/been tweaked?Bobcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01419147808285360690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-36017531305194509072023-05-21T15:35:09.292-06:002023-05-21T15:35:09.292-06:00FollowingFollowingJeff Vallierehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08106877622296558733noreply@blogger.com
