If a shoe like the SC Elite 3 has higher stack than say Hoka Mach 5 and New Balance Rebel v3, why couldn't/shouldn't it be utilized as part of the training rotation (long runs, speed days)? Does the foam break down too quickly? It’s a fantastic race.
I find the RC2 to be more forgiving and less primed to go as fast as possible than the SC3. The extra softness should come in handy at the end of the race.Joostnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-3540043773232599572023-03-07T02:10:17.485-07:002023-03-07T02:10:17.485-07:00Hi team! I’m running around 5:00 min/km (approx 8min/mile) and am tossing up RC Elite 2 and SC Elite 3.
I noticed Joost recommended the RC 2 over the SC 3 for ultramarathons, just wondering if you could please further elaborate on this? And give a recommendation? Cheers! Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-77829441877336067632022-10-15T13:31:13.759-06:002022-10-15T13:31:13.759-06:00@anonymous-

Even then, it was only on my left side, and only happened once. I don't think Michael encountered this problem at all, and he's a fan of the SC I believe. I can't personally compare to the SC as I haven't run it yet. Hope this helps.Ryan (RTR)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-30265244744134259532022-10-15T01:01:30.477-06:002022-10-15T01:01:30.477-06:00The ankle bone rubbing in SC trainer is a major is...The ankle bone rubbing in SC trainer is a major issue. Did NB carry the faulty design to this shoe also or is the ankle blister issue different?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
