My instinct would be that since Helios is a race type shoe its fit would be snugger. This said looking at the catalog I see both Helios and Ultra Raptor share a Tempo2 last while Bushido has a Racing Lite Ergo last.
You might pose the question on our Facebook page RoadTrailrRun.com or the Running Shoe Geeks also on FB. Also Running Warehouse here can have good comparative fit information:. I assume you are in Europe as an accent shows up in your comment!
http://www.runningwarehouse.eu/La_Sportiva_Bushido/descpage-LSMBU.html?from=rtr
Sam, Editor
Thanks for reading Road Trail Run! Actually, I can add that the shoes could be very durable: after > 1000K with them the upper and cushioning are still good, only the sole (again!) lasted only <300K ... I recently found a solution for the sole ... a very simple one, I just replaced it with the Vibram Megagrip sole :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03753686527730000755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-72375748277610200252016-03-31T08:45:20.310-06:002016-03-31T08:45:20.310-06:00PS I am on euro size 41, i see sometimes that mark...PS I am on euro size 41, i see sometimes that marked UK sizes are not the theoretical number conversion they should be from US / EUR sizing.Skyggehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00073054788270768085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-37302414329005802072016-03-31T08:38:27.724-06:002016-03-31T08:38:27.724-06:00I agree with you, this is a fantastic shoe, I use ...
I agree with you, this is a fantastic shoe, I use it both for running and hiking / scrambling. Very light, sticky, firm. I did yesterday a hike in melting snow, even crossing streams, and the water is going out as quick as it gets in. It's actually great for marshes! Wave form I like a lot, but not the best for boulderfields. I am actaully thinking of buying another pair if I find a cheap one (I'm in Norway, costs a lot).

However I disagree about sizing. I have rather wide fit and "high" toes. Buying shoes is a nightmare, i had to try at home for hours and bring back to the shop a Helios SR and an Inov 8 212. Going up half a size on the SR did the trick when the shoe was broken in. But for the Inov 8 i would have had to jump 1.5-2 sizes up and get something way to long.Skyggehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00073054788270768085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-22405819934534304712015-07-23T01:22:46.546-06:002015-07-23T01:22:46.546-06:00To be honest, I can't really reconcile "v...To be honest, I can't really reconcile "very rocky 100k" with "minimalist shoe". Anton Krupicka might disagree, but I feel that minimal shoes are good for training, and for shorter or smoother races. For long and rocky, I know I personally need more cushion and more rock protection. I'm currently checking out shoes for the Wasatch 100, and top candidates are Pearl Izumi N2 and Altra Lone Peak 2.5. If these are too substantial for you, you could downsize to Pearl Izumi N1 or Altra Superior.Telemarkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06464416054977970508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-89423753322305891372015-07-21T04:00:40.273-06:002015-07-21T04:00:40.273-06:00Dominick, Thank you for the review. Same with the salomon Sense Ultra's. Any recommendations for low drop, trail running shoes with strong rock protection would be much appreciated.ZipperTheoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15455687502254625540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10529476.post-6179521805680864022015-04-02T12:06:21.571-06:002015-04-02T12:06:21.571-06:00I neglected to mention that there is a stiffening ...I neglected to mention that there is a stiffening shank in the midfoot of the shoe. Interestingly, this is not visible in the photo of the shoe cut in half (prototype, photo taken at a trade show), which suggests that it was added to the design later. The shank can be clearly felt underneath the red "Endurance Platform" layer.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to post them here, and I'll do my best to answer them promptly!Telemarkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06464416054977970508noreply@blogger.com
