Nathan Switchblade 24oz. Hydration Belt Review

Article by Dominique Winebaum

Nathan Switchblade 24oz. Hydration Belt ($50)
I tested the Switchblade 24oz Hydration Belt by Nathan on trail runs in Park City, UT, on hot summer days, when hydration needs are high even on fairly short runs (5-6 miles).
Here is a hydration belt designed with “race-ready features” such as moveable holsters that allow for alternative positioning of the two flasks: either in the back or in the front, and four gel loops on the outside of the roomy zip pocket.

Mindful of the need to stay hydrated on my daily runs, the Switchblade 24oz Hydration Belt has become my essential running companion allowing me to run the distance, stay optimally hydrated, and carry some basics.
Two “Speedshot” Flasks (12oz/355ml) are designed with a “new TPE hand grip inserts” ensuring a secure grip of the flask during hydration and secure storage in the holsters.
The moveable zip pocket offers generous storage space for running essentials, such as a large nutrition bar, along with an internal compartment for an iPhone 7Plus, in addition to the external four gel loops and a pocket for trash.
Well-designed with a great fit and generous storage capacity with ease of access – there is even room to tuck an ultralight running jacket into the strap loop - I highly recommend the Switchblade 24oz Hydration Belt, by Nathan.
Comes in 4 colors: black, blue radiance, fusion coral, and tomato.
Price: $ 49.99

I bought the Nathan switchblade24oz and as reviewed.. Good size for iPhone6+/7+ n good sized bottles. Only problem is the plastic cage.. Flimsy and broke at 2 joints at the thin edge. So in the market now sourcing for a good alternative.
